From £10,000. Fixed on the call. Never moves.

Four tiers. Your Snowflake spend sets which one applies — scale determines how much estate there is to audit. We agree the tier on the discovery call. What you pay is what appears on the invoice, three or four weeks later.

Compared

One audit at £10,000 vs. a subscription at $18,000 a year.

Select.dev — the largest cost tool in this space — starts at $1,499 a month. That's $18,000 a year, every year, for a dashboard that only covers cost. Aperture's Starter is $10,000 once, covers four axes, and hands you a board-ready report. You can always subscribe to continuous monitoring afterwards. You'd be starting from a report you've read, rather than a subscription you hoped would pay for itself.

Select.dev

$18,000/yr, forever

  • Cost only — no security, no freshness, no usefulness
  • Dashboard product — no PDF, no exec artifact
  • Self-serve setup, no human in the loop
  • Recurring subscription contract

Aperture Starter

£10,000 once

  • Cost + security + freshness + data usefulness
  • Board-ready PDF, scorecard, shareable link
  • Blue Thread consultant runs the sprint
  • No lock-in — subscription is optional, after

How to pay

Three ways. Two available today, one coming.

Purchase order

The default for most engagements. We issue an invoice against your PO on completion — Net 30 by default, negotiable to Net 15. Blue Thread is a registered UK company; VAT invoiced where applicable.

Stripe

For customers who'd rather not run a PO cycle. Card or ACH, receipted immediately. Same fixed fee, no processing surcharge.

Snowflake Marketplace capacity commit

Planned

Snowflake's Marketplace Capacity Drawdown programme lets you allocate a portion of your existing Snowflake capacity commit against Marketplace subscriptions. It skips the new-PO cycle — a six-week procurement path becomes a two-day allocation. This applies to Aperture's continuous-monitoring subscription once it lists on Marketplace. The sprint fee itself doesn't qualify — Snowflake explicitly excludes professional services from drawdown.

What's included, and what isn't.

Included in every tier:the scan, the report, the readout call. Post-sprint fixes are quoted separately as a retainer if you want us to run them — you're free to run everything in-house instead, and we'll say so where that will work.

Not included: Snowflake consumption during scans (usually pennies), any licenced third-party connectors, travel if the workshop is on-site. We flag those on the call so nothing is a surprise on the invoice.

If we can't find enough to justify the fee:we credit the difference toward whatever you want us to do next. It's never happened, but the offer stands.

Twenty minutes to size the engagement.

Snowflake spend, account topology, what triggered you to look. We'll set the tier on the call.
